Shopbae is an AI-powered shopping platform that helps users discover, compare, and purchase products across multiple retailers. The product is designed to simplify online shopping through personalized recommendations and timely product signals.
Problem
Shoppers often have to move between retailers to find the right product, compare prices, and keep track of availability. Shopbae brings discovery, comparison, and purchase intent into one product.
My role
Senior Software Engineer at Mailmunch (09/2023 – Present). Engineering production shopping experiences across mobile and web. Integrating AI-assisted discovery into the product flow. Building end-to-end features from interface through backend and deployment.
Technical approach
The product combines a consumer-facing shopping experience with AI-powered recommendations. My work on the team sits in production React Native and full-stack TypeScript, connecting personalized discovery, price comparison, alerts, and wishlist flows.
